Strobe2 is now available!

We're proud to announce that Strobe2 is now available! Strobe2 is an analogue-modelled software polysynth with programming simplicity that makes creating new sounds addictive and exciting. Alongside enhancements to the original's analogue-modelled synthesis engine and intuitive TransMod modulation system, new highlights include stunning effects, preset morphing, randomizing, over 900 presets and a scalable vector interface compatible with retina and 4K displays.

Of course, Strobe2 retains the cult-classic original's signature character - a 'super-oscillator' with stacking, detuning and sync, a warm saturating VCA and a powerful multimode filter with 22 responses for massive tonal variety. Strobe2 is capable of everything from raw vintage tones to futuristic sound design and is perfect for all kinds of music from classic to modern and beyond.

Strobe2 is available now as a download-only product from the FXpansion web shop and authorized retailers.

FXpansion - Strobe 2

기다리던 녀석인데 출시메일이 날라왔길래 오늘 업그레이드 했습니다. 

DCAM Synth Squad 유저에겐 세일해주겠다고 미리 공지해었는데 

사실 더 할인해줬으면 싶은 욕심은 있지만, 워낙 오래된 제품이니 $79면 나름 적당하네요. 

DCAM 에서 손이 자주 가던 Strobe 인지라 기대가 됩니다. 

설치후 아주 간단한 사용 소감을 적자면 아래와 같습니다. 

* 인터페이스의 직관성과 편의성은 좋아졌다만 예전 디자인 보다 덜 예쁨ㅠ  

* 소리의 기본적 성향은 비슷하지만 이펙터쪽이 많이 보강된 만큼 손쉽게 멋진 사운드가 남. 

  하지만 이게 이펙터가 아니어도 엔진의 변화로 인해 이전과 느낌이 다르다는것! (같은 패치도 완전 다름)

* 이전에 만든 패치들은 Legacy 탭을 눌러줘야만 하는 번거로움이..

  하아.. 다시 새로 저장해주어야 하나.. 귀찮은데.. (물론 관리면에선 나뉘는게 더 좋긴 함) 

* 기본적인 유전자는 같아도 Strobe 1과 2는 사실상 다른 악기라고 보임. 취향차이 있을듯. 

  

자세한 후기는 조금 더 겪어보고 작성해볼게요~~ 

역시 예전의 Strobe가 간지난단 말씀.
